The following presentation was delivered by Dr. Gary Selnow, Executive Director of WiRED International.
"On behalf of the volunteers and the board of directors of WiRED International, it is my pleasure to provide the faculty and students of the Tuzla Medical School with a new Community Health Information Center. This facility will join many WiRED Centers around the world in providing the latest medical and health care information for the education of physicians, nurses and other professional health care providers. It is our strong hope and belief that the information and communication resources made available through this Center will contribute to the good health and well-being of the people of Tuzla and the surrounding region.
WiRED is pleased to dedicate this Center which has been made available with a generous contribution from The Medtronic Foundation, an organization committed to helping people live healthy and productive lives. WiRED also recognizes generous contributions from the Tatjana Grgich Family Foundation and hundreds of individual donors in the United States who, in the spirit of friendship and cooperation, have offered their donations to help the people of Tuzla enjoy a bright, healthy and peaceful future.
I wish you, your medical staff and your students the very best as they commit themselves to the study and the practice of medicine. WiRED, its contributors and its board of directors extend our warmest best wishes for the good work you will conduct in this place."
